If the hydraulic assist on your factory Porsche 996 Turbo or X50 is giving you trouble with racing through the gears, then you might want to check out this new product from Agency Power. The GT2 slave conversion kit gets rid of the hydraulic assist to give your clutch pedal a stiffer more responsive feel to it. The factory slave does fail sometimes so this product can serve as a replacement or an upgrade. The kit includes a CNC machined aluminum bracket that fits on top of the transmission to mount the new components. In addition, a shorter rod is included which keeps the pedal travel limited yet still offering a comfortable daily driving machine. New OEM Porsche parts are included to replace the existing hardware. The blue anodized bracket is mounted on to the transmission which requires it to be removed from the vehicle. The Porsche 996 Turbo and C4S model was designed and built with high performance braking in mind. However, this amazing platform has now become a popular vehicle for the track use. With track racing comes the needs for improved braking over what the stock 4piston 330mm brakes can handle. Brake engineering at the simplest is about how you can have clamping force over a large surface area and dissipate the heat to keep the brakes from fading. What Agency Power has engineered is a Plus 1 Bracket Kit which allows you to take the factory 4piston 330mm brakes and upgrade to the 350mm OEM rotors that are found on the Porsche 997 Turbo. This bracket kit is essentially a spacer that goes between your caliper and the wheel carrier to allow your caliper to fit over the larger rotors. The larger rotors will give you increased surface area to provide you better braking and longer pad life. Our brackets are CNC machined 6061 aluminum to keep the weight down. Since this is an important safety component, we have had the brackets hard anodized. The kit includes longer bolts needed to install as well as new washers. Each bracket is laser engraved with the AP logo and if it is a front or rear unit. Each Kit is sold as a pair of fronts or pair of rears. Agency Power now has a wide variety of steel braided brakelines for most high-end performance cars. The brakeline kits are made in the USA to meet strict D.O.T. certifications. The steel braided lines are a smoke or red color with the AP logo printed on it. The CNC machined fittings are in classic Agency Power Gold for smoke color and black for red color, to separate you from the competition. All kits are assembled for a quick and easy install. Include fittings, hoses, and necessary hardware. Steel Braided lines improve component performance over the stock rubber hose. With rubber hose, the fluid under pressure flexes the hose, cause loss in firmness and reaction. With the steel braided lines, the response is firmer giving you more control.
