    Agency Power has just given Porsche 996TT owners another way to get an easy 25 bolt-on horsepower with this new 84mm race plenum and throttle body kit. Agency Power set out to engineer and design a plenum that was functional, did not require additional tuning, and simply... made power! The plenum is 6061 aluminum that retains the same shape as the factory T Pipe. The reason to keep a standard T shape is that the engine works off of pulses. Just like how Porsche designed, Agency Power kept this design and simply improved the restriction, the throttle body. The factory throttle body inlet size is 76mm that then jumps up to a 78mm ID plastic plenum. Agency Power has chosen to use a 84mm Porsche throttle body which improves the top end power over the already great 78mm Agency Power throttle body kit. The T shape plenum features all the necessary vacuum and breather hose ports as stock for a true bolt on application. Each plenum features a CNC machined throttle body flange that includes the necessary recessed gasket for a sealed fit. The complete T plenum is TIG welded and then powdercoated gloss black inside and out for a smooth and stealth finish.     Making power on your Porsche 996 Turbo, X50, or GT2 is as easy as adding an exhaust and a ECU Flash. But what happens when you take the stock boost of .6-.7bar (K16 Turbos) and double it? The factory wastegates can really limit how power is delivered to your Porsche Turbo reducing performance. With the Agency Power 1.0bar wastegate actuator kit, this can all changed. A wastegate is simply a turbine bypass valve. It works by diverting some portion of the exhaust gas around, instead of through, the turbine. This limits the amount of power that the turbine can deliver to the compressor, t HEREby limiting the turbo speed and boost level that the compressor provides. When this boost level is reached, the valve will open and begin to bypass exhaust gas, preventing boost from increasing. The factory wastegate spring on the K16 or K24 turbos has to work much harder then the ECU programmed boost level. Usually this means that as the boost solenoid takes over keeping the wastegate shut, it is struggling to keep the boost delivery. A 1.0bar wastegate running manifold pressure only will make 1.0bar or 14.3psi of boost. This means that with the control of the factory or external boost controller, the wastegates will stay shut until the spring limit is reached and open up at 1.0bar giving you much more responsive and immediate power delivery all the way to redline. Since most ECU tuned cars are running 1.1-1.3bar of boost, these upgraded wastegates can be largely beneficial. Wastegates are sold as a pair.     One of the most important upgrades for the Porsche 996, Cayenne Turbo or Panamera Turbo is to replace the factory Bosch diverter valves. The factory valves are prone to leaking pressure under increased boost when the car has an upgraded ECU flash. As well, the factory Bosch valves will taper boost off with the diaphragm design even at stock boost levels. To help keep the boost pressure constant all the way to redline, upgrading the stock diverter valves to the Agency Power Racing Diverter Valve Kit will improve your cars overall performance. These valves are CNC machined 6061 aluminum which have been precision engineered to fit with the stock or aftermarket F-Hose and intake return hoses. The internal construction of the valve uses a machined piston with proper o-rings to ensure a smooth motion that is air tight to prevent any boost leaks. The spring has been engineered to hold moderate to aggressive boost increases on the 996TT, Cayenne TT and Panamera TT vehicles. Agency Power's silicone boost hose kit replaces the 4 factory rubber boost hoses with these high quality and purpose driven silicone kit.     Following the resounding success of our direct replacement valves for other OEM applications, we have just completed development and testing of a pair of direct replacement bypass valves specific to the Porsche 996 twin turbo application. These direct replacement units utilize full billet aluminum construction and a piston based design that has proved successful throughout our entire range of application specific and universal valve products. Viton brand high temp silicone o-ring are used for sealing of the piston and the valve cap, Mobil1 fully synthetic bearing grease for lubrication of the internals, and a proprietary spring rate is used to handle the widest possible range of boost pressures. The low-profile cap incorporates a swiveling center section that allows for 360 rotation of the vacuum nipple for ease of fitment. This also allows for quick disassembly of the valve without requiring removal from the vehicle should servicing of the internals be required.
