The Porsche 996 Turbo and C4S model was designed and built with high performance braking in mind. However, this amazing platform has now become a popular vehicle for the track use. With track racing comes the needs for improved braking over what the stock 4piston 330mm brakes can handle. Brake engineering at the simplest is about how you can have clamping force over a large surface area and dissipate the heat to keep the brakes from fading. What Agency Power has engineered is a Plus 1 Bracket Kit which allows you to take the factory 4piston 330mm brakes and upgrade to the 350mm OEM rotors that are found on the Porsche 997 Turbo. This bracket kit is essentially a spacer that goes between your caliper and the wheel carrier to allow your caliper to fit over the larger rotors. The larger rotors will give you increased surface area to provide you better braking and longer pad life. Our brackets are CNC machined 6061 aluminum to keep the weight down. Since this is an important safety component, we have had the brackets hard anodized. The kit includes longer bolts needed to install as well as new washers. Agency Power has just given Porsche 996TT owners another way to get an easy 25 bolt-on horsepower with this new 84mm race plenum and throttle body kit. Agency Power set out to engineer and design a plenum that was functional, did not require additional tuning, and simply... made power! The plenum is 6061 aluminum that retains the same shape as the factory T Pipe. The reason to keep a standard T shape is that the engine works off of pulses. Just like how Porsche designed, Agency Power kept this design and simply improved the restriction, the throttle body. The factory throttle body inlet size is 76mm that then jumps up to a 78mm ID plastic plenum. Agency Power has chosen to use a 84mm Porsche throttle body which improves the top end power over the already great 78mm Agency Power throttle body kit. The T shape plenum features all the necessary vacuum and breather hose ports as stock for a true bolt on application. Each plenum features a CNC machined throttle body flange that includes the necessary recessed gasket for a sealed fit. The complete T plenum is TIG welded and then powdercoated gloss black inside and out for a smooth and stealth finish.
