The factory sway bar links utilize a simple design, ball joint and thin connecting rod. This style of links can be found on several makes and models of different vehicles. However, for the purist, the hardcore driver, and the weekend racer, these factory links are not enough. One of the first performance modifications you make in handling is the sway bars to assist with over and under steer. These rear end links are made of high grade 6061 CNC machined aluminum. The link maintains the same thickness throughout the length giving it a very strong structural integrity. The spherical bearings (monoballs) are used instead of urethane bushings for longevity as well as reduced noise. The bearings are sealed to prevent from wear and tear caused by dirt, water, mud, etc. Each bearing is held in place with a C clip to allow easy maintenance if desired. All hardware is stainless steel to prevent from rust and long term corrosion. The stainless metal collars are designed to give the link the correct alignment when attached to the shock body and sway bar. Each bolt uses an allen head for easy installation. Well, Agency Power has developed the ultimate air intake system for the new age Porsche 996 Turbo owner. We introduce the Agency Power Dual Flow Air Intake Kit for the Porsche 996TT. The intake will fit on the standard 996TT and X50 rear deck lids. Others such as the GT2 deck lid may require modifications. This air intake uses the factory OEM back half of the intake box which includes the fault free OEM MAF tube. What we have done is beefed up the front cover with a full composite unit which is designed to intake more air volume which is then traversed over the flat panel air filter. The biggest improvement of this box is the dual snorkel. We have built a composite intake scoop which mounts on the bottom of the left side of the engine deck lid. This scoop takes the airflow from the vented deck lid and pushes it through the snorkel piece and down into the stock air box. The purpose of this design is to increase air flow to the factory filter. In high speed or racing conditions, the intake needs to be able to get as much air as possible to keep these turbos working efficient. This dual snorkel unit combined with our updated OEM box cover and a K&N flat panel air filter does wonders for your overall vehicle performance. Making power on your Porsche 996 Turbo, X50, or GT2 is as easy as adding an exhaust and a ECU Flash. But what happens when you take the stock boost of .6-.7bar (K16 Turbos) and double it? The factory wastegates can really limit how power is delivered to your Porsche Turbo reducing performance. With the Agency Power 1.0bar wastegate actuator kit, this can all changed. A wastegate is simply a turbine bypass valve. It works by diverting some portion of the exhaust gas around, instead of through, the turbine. This limits the amount of power that the turbine can deliver to the compressor, t HEREby limiting the turbo speed and boost level that the compressor provides. When this boost level is reached, the valve will open and begin to bypass exhaust gas, preventing boost from increasing. The factory wastegate spring on the K16 or K24 turbos has to work much harder then the ECU programmed boost level. Usually this means that as the boost solenoid takes over keeping the wastegate shut, it is struggling to keep the boost delivery. A 1.0bar wastegate running manifold pressure only will make 1.0bar or 14.3psi of boost. This means that with the control of the factory or external boost controller, the wastegates will stay shut until the spring limit is reached and open up at 1.0bar giving you much more responsive and immediate power delivery all the way to redline. Since most ECU tuned cars are running 1.1-1.3bar of boost, these upgraded wastegates can be largely beneficial. Wastegates are sold as a pair.
