AP has designed a lower short shift linkage that fits with the factory or aftermarket shifters. This linkage is 1 solid unit for rigidity using a plastic material insert which gives the shifter a stiff and accurate shift. The shift linkage fits over the stock cable housing giving you ability to adjust its tension for a perfect driving experience. Agency Power has just given Porsche 996TT owners another way to get an easy 25 bolt-on horsepower with this new 84mm race plenum and throttle body kit. Agency Power set out to engineer and design a plenum that was functional, did not require additional tuning, and simply... made power! The plenum is 6061 aluminum that retains the same shape as the factory T Pipe. The reason to keep a standard T shape is that the engine works off of pulses. Just like how Porsche designed, Agency Power kept this design and simply improved the restriction, the throttle body. The factory throttle body inlet size is 76mm that then jumps up to a 78mm ID plastic plenum. Agency Power has chosen to use a 84mm Porsche throttle body which improves the top end power over the already great 78mm Agency Power throttle body kit. The T shape plenum features all the necessary vacuum and breather hose ports as stock for a true bolt on application. Each plenum features a CNC machined throttle body flange that includes the necessary recessed gasket for a sealed fit. The complete T plenum is TIG welded and then powdercoated gloss black inside and out for a smooth and stealth finish. Having already developed a power producing Y-Pipe in aluminum, we decided to take this design and create it in carbon fiber for those wanting that extra exotic touch in their engine bay. Matching nicely with the factory carbon fiber air intake box as picture, this full carbon Y-Pipe is built with 2x2 tubular sleeve carbon. Airflow restrictions can always hamper performance and power and this part like any other does that as well. Our YPipe kit has smooth mandrel 3inch bends from a 4inch collector that goes to the throttlebody. For fitment reasons, we then neck down to 2.25inches to fit on the stock boost hoses. We have incorporated all fittings/sensors that are required. Going off our original baseline using our Mustang AWD on 91octane and about 90F temp, the car made 455awhp and 443ft/lbs of torque. We did these test in standard mode, not sport to see the linear gains. With the addition of our YPipe, we picked up about 10 horsepower and 20ft/lbs of torque. Final number of 463awhp and 466ft/lbs. These numbers represent the PEAK gains on the dyno, however looking at the curve you can see even more gains in different areas. From about 2900rpm to 3700rpm the car gained almost 40ft/lbs of torque and then tapered to the peak torque gain of 20ft/lbs.
